Magnet pictures a mid century advertisement for Moto-Mower lawn mowers. Moto-Powerwas a subsidiary of Detroit Harvester, located in Richmon, Indiana. About five years after this ad appeared, Detroit Harvester was renamed Dura Corp. The company reported that the name was changed to better reflect its product line as agricultural equipment was then less than 10% of output.
This was originally a 2-page ad that has been consolidated to fit on a magnet. The second page was all sell copy that would have ended up at about 2-point text on a magnet so it went bye bye along with a lady. She's inside drinking lemonade now but will return to finish the job before dark.
