This magnet pictures Lady Margaret Beaufort (1443-1509), countess of Richmond and Derby, mother of English King Henry VII, grandmother of King Henry VIII.  Married and widowed by age 13, Margaret's had only one child, Henry VII.  At his death she became regent for his son Henry VIII but died two months after her son.
