This large sized magnet pictures a modified 1950s advertisement for Cracker Jack caramel corn snack that appeared in comic books.  The words are the same but the graphics have been made more legible.

Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack, I don't care if I ever get back!

The first known version of Cracker Jack was sold at the 1893 Columbian exposition Worlds Fair in Chicago. The producer, Frederick "Fritz" William Rueckheim, kept refining the product and an improved version introduced in 1896 was named Cracker Jack.

The familiar tune, "Take Me out to the Ball Game" was released in 1908. Sailor Jack appeared in 1918, modeled after Fritz's nephew.

The Rueckheim's sold the company to Borden in 1964 and in 1997 Borden sold the brand to Frito-Lay.
