A 1950 Pabst beer Advertisement is pictured on this magnet.  The ad featured radio stars Harry von Zell (1906-1981) and Bill Goodwin (1910-1958) at the bowling alley.  First Goodwin, then Zell grew to fame on the Burns and Allen radio and television programs.  Goodwin also hosted Blondie, Colgate Theatre and the Bob Hope Show and was a comedian on the Frank Sinatra Show.  He appeared in a half dozen films and was the narrator for Gerald McBoing Boing cartoon show.

Harry von Zell worked as an announcer on as many as twenty shows a week during the 1920s and 30s.  He appeared in twenty eight films and many television programs, including Perry Mason, and wrote teleplays for four episodes of Wagon Train.
